About Us

Lifelike Dental Studio, Inc is a small family-owned, national award-winning dental laboratory located in the heart of Central Texas that started in 2005.

It began with Chris and Carrie working out of a small portable building in their backyard. They built their business through prayer, talent, tears, and a lot of trust in doctors who believed in their capabilities. Lifelike has been blessed with steady growth with their commercial building and committed staff that has been with them for over 14 years.

With nearly two decades of servicing their community, Lifelike provides doctors with high-end fixed restorative options across the country and specializes in all implant and implant-supported cases.

Lifelike is so thankful for each of their doctors who have made them a part of their restorative team and they look forward to their continuing partnerships.

Meet Our Owners

Chris and Carrie Ling have been married for over 25 years and have four beautiful children. They are the true definition of a team, both in the lab and at home. When you call Lifelike Dental, you can expect Carrie to answer the phone and Chris is always available to chat and help plan your next case. Building relationships with their Doctors is the foundation of their studio!

 Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA from the University of North Texas in 1995 and began his Dental Technician career shortly thereafter. As a true "dental nerd," Chris loves learning about new technology and techniques. He has studied under some of the world's premier dental ceramists, attended Spear Study Club, given hands-on presentations at LMT Lab Day Chicago for Jensen Dental, and traveled all over the country honing his craft. Chris is a "Full Arch Masters" alumni, trained in a completely digital all-on-X workflow from Dr. Ryan Dunlop and his team.

Paula has years of experience in the dental field, both chairside as an assistant and in the laboratory. She processes our digital and analog impressions and runs our 3D printing department.
